PCI Pharma Services

The brief

PCI Pharma Services is a global CDMO, working across the pharmaceutical supply chain to help bring medicines to patients around the world.

For an organisation operating at this scale, there is a huge amount to communicate – from complex scientific and operational subjects to strategic initiatives, internal communications, events and everyday business updates. And those messages need to reach very different audiences, across different channels and in different formats.

Escape works with PCI as an extension of its creative team, providing ongoing design and creative support across a broad range of communications. The work ranges from developing identities for new initiatives and creating campaign materials, to designing publications, presentations, digital content and internal communications.

The challenge is to make each piece clear, engaging and unmistakably PCI, while making sure the design is appropriate to the audience, the message and the channel.

It’s not about applying the same solution to everything. It’s about understanding what each communication needs to achieve, finding the right way to tell the story and making sure it works within the wider PCI brand.

The challenge
– Complex information.
– Multiple audiences.
– Multiple channels.
– One global brand.

Our job was to make it all work together.

Our approach

The work starts with understanding.

Whether we’re developing a new identity, shaping an internal campaign, designing a publication or turning a complex subject into a presentation, we start by understanding what PCI needs to say, who needs to hear it and what they need to take away.

From there, we find the right way to communicate it.

Sometimes that means creating a visual identity that gives a new initiative its own character while remaining recognisably PCI.

Sometimes it’s about turning a large amount of information into a clear, navigable publication.

Sometimes it’s finding a visual idea that makes an internal message more engaging, or structuring a presentation so a complicated story becomes easy to follow.

The format follows the message.

Five ways we help:

Brand & identity
Creating identities and visual systems for new initiatives and programmes.

Campaigns & communications
Making important messages clear, engaging and easy to act on.

Content & publications
Turning detailed information into content people can navigate and understand.

Presentations & storytelling
Structuring complex subjects into stories that hold an audience’s attention.

From information to communication
We don’t just make information look good.We help turn it into something people can understand.
